A lot goes into making FoodShare SC happen, and there is much potential still to be realized!

FoodShare South Carolina aims to empower individuals to adopt a more nutritious diet as part of a healthy lifestyle through food box participation and culinary medicine cooking classes. We believe access to fresh, affordable food should not be limited by where you live or how much you make. At FoodShare, we know that it’s about more than just a box of food. It’s about building confidence and providing hope.

By supporting FoodShare today you are helping to support a system which allows individuals to learn necessary skills and access the foods necessary to make a change in their lives for the healthier.

Your monetary contribution will help us to continue our current programming and expand to serve other parts of the state and our local community.

FoodShare SC currently financially operates out of the University of South Carolina’s School of Medicine and donations are handled through University of South Carolina’s Development & Giving website. Your donation is tax deductible and 100% of your contribution will go directly to our program.
