SNAP/EBT users will soon be able to order online through FoodShare South Carolina’s secure portal, eliminating the need to come to a physical FoodShare location to order. This option will be launched at FoodShare’s Columbia site later this Fall and will expand to additional FoodShare county hubs in the months following the Columbia launch. FoodShare Columbia staff will soon begin contacting SNAP/EBT customers by phone to start introducing the program and collecting preliminary information.

How will it work?

Rest easy! Participants will create their own password to complete registration. All online transactions will go through a secure server. Participants will enter their SNAP card number/PIN to complete purchases. FoodShare will NEVER ask participants for a SNAP card number or PIN over the phone or via email.
