Columbia, SC – October 1, 2025 – FoodShare South Carolina is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Page Bookhart as its new Director of Programs & Rural Outreach, effective October 1, 2025. In this role, she will lead the development of the Fresh Food Box program infrastructure, expand into rural areas, execute the strategic plan, and provide supervision and direction to program staff.
Ashley brings extensive experience and a proven track record of success to FoodShare. Most recently, she served as SNAP-Ed Program Coordinator within the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health. Ashley holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of South Carolina.
