Avocado Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 avocado, pit removed and peeled
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons onion, minced
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • ¼ teaspoon hot sauce, optional

Instructions:

  1. Combine garlic and avocado and mash until smooth
  2. Add salt, hot sauce (if using), lemon juice and onion. Mix well.
  3. Add yogurt and mix well.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  5. Serve with your favorite raw veggies like cucumbers, peppers, or with pita chips!

Notes/Variations:

  • Leftovers may be kept in an airtight container overnight.
