Lemon Baked Trout
- 1 pound uncooked rainbow trout
- 2 lemons
- 1 cup thinly sliced yellow onions
- black pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Place trout filets in a 9×12-inch baking pan. Sprinkle the juice of a ½ a lemon over each fillet. Layer onions over the top of each fish. Sprinkle with black pepper.
- Cover pan of trout with foil and bake until done, about 20-30 minutes. Fish is done when it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
